As I process the world around me, I am often reminded of past incidents and moments when “history repeats itself.” And, I recently had an epiphany that I feel compelled to share. I believe that a portion of my contribution to the movement for social change may be using my platform to highlight the “blueprint” forged by our ancestors and freedom fighters on a global scale. There are so many “lost gems” in their history/herstory, stories, and journeys that I believe could help propel us to greater victory. So, I’m creating the “Rainbow Child Collective.”

Though my personal account (@ashleylavernejackson) will be fully engaged and repost the information shared, the #RainbowChildCollective will live on its own Instagram feed (@rainbowchildcollective) and serve as a digital political education series. In the near future, I will use the social account and this website as a platform and bring scholars to live streams to analyze and contribute to our collective knowledge of our ongoing battle for our right to live, breathe, and prosper.

My ultimate wish is that followers of the #RainbowChildCollective will be armed with past and present knowledge to fight for: our collective freedoms, contribute to voter registration efforts and unite to financially support initiatives, organizations, and staples in communities that are diligently working on behalf of the betterment of humankind around the globe. If you’re interested in contributing your voice or joining forces, please reach out via the contact form below.

Sending you love and light.
Xx, Ashley Jackson
